Director of Operations

About the role

The Operations Director will lead the operational performance of a Lean Solutions Group site in Barranquilla, ensuring company policies, standards, and client commitments are met. This senior role provides strategic leadership across multiple operational teams, driving efficiency, financial results, workforce planning and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operational performance and ensure compliance with company policies and client SLAs.
• Develop and execute operational strategies that improve efficiency and financial performance.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning and performance metrics.
• Lead client‑facing operations and act as escalation point for executive stakeholders.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.
• Supervise large teams through Operations Managers and Senior Operations Managers.
• Prepare and present analytical reports and business insights to senior leadership and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Director of Operations in a BPO environment.
• Proven track record managing operational budgets, workforce planning and financial performance.
• Strong experience in client‑facing operations and executive stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and develop high‑performing leaders.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1–C2) for regular interaction with U.S. clients.
