Dispatch Supervisor – Logistics Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to lead the planning and inbound logistics operations for finished product shipments in Bogotá. The role ensures timely, compliant delivery of orders nationally and internationally, supporting the company’s distribution strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the dispatch of finished products.
• Control dispatch in accordance with authorizations from portfolio and sales departments.
• Guarantee that products are dispatched under optimal conditions.
• Support the purchasing department in daily transport and vehicle escort services.
• Record freight rates negotiated with carriers in the SICETAC system.
• Follow up on orders not dispatched and identify causes.

Required profile

• Technical or professional background in logistics, administrative management, industrial processes or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in dispatch, inventory, cost and personnel management.
• Experience with inventory control and cost monitoring.
• Ability to manage teams and coordinate with multiple departments.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with office automation tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with freight management systems (e.g., SICETAC).
