Electives Program Assistant (Grades 6-12)

About the role

Williamsburg Learning is seeking a Program Assistant to support the instructional and operational needs of its elective programs for grades 6‑12. Reporting to the Program Leader, you will help mentors deliver high‑impact teaching by grading assignments, assisting live classes, maintaining course materials, and stepping in as a substitute when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Attend weekly L10 meetings, capture notes, track action items, and create Asana tasks.
• Communicate professionally with students and staff via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
• Support live classes by managing breakout rooms, facilitating activities, and holding office hours.
• Grade assignments using established rubrics, provide written feedback, and alert mentors to student concerns.
• Substitute for mentors using prepared materials to ensure continuity of instruction.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
