About the role
Minka builds real‑time payment infrastructure and you will report to the head of engineering and lead the engineering effort for our Latin American clients, managing teams that deliver products and bank integrations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan work with tech leads and keep delivery dates realistic.
- Set priorities with product to align engineering with business needs.
- Maintain the issue tracker and raise early warnings for missed deadlines.
- Hold 1:1s, monitor engineer performance and satisfaction.
- Hire engineers and define technical standards.
Required profile
- 8+ years software engineering experience, with at least 4 years building production backend systems.
- 2+ years managing engineers, including tech leads or senior engineers.
- Strong understanding of complex distributed systems.
- Proven experience planning work of multiple teams against client‑agreed dates.
- Daily use of issue trackers such as Linear or Jira.
- Fluent in Spanish and professional English.
