Engineering Technician – Documentation & ERP Control

About the role

The Engineering Technician is the production‑facing owner of controlled engineering documentation and ERP master data for heavy‑gauge thermoforming programs. You will ensure that SolidWorks and EPDM specifications, as well as NetSuite item masters, BOMs, routings, and work order packets, are accurate and released before production begins, and you will maintain them throughout the production lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and re‑release SolidWorks drawings, layouts, and specifications for manufacturing.
• Maintain EPDM/PDM records, metadata, and revision history; manage redlines and legacy drawing cleanup.
• Execute quick‑turn drawing edits and controlled releases to support urgent production needs.
• Create and maintain NetSuite item masters, BOMs, routings, work instructions, and packaging instructions.
• Perform BOM and inventory hygiene to ensure work order accuracy.
• Administer Engineering Change Requests/Orders (ECR/ECO/EC), route approvals, track progress, and ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
• Initiate and manage deviations, obtain approvals, and document closure.
• Provide immediate support to plant personnel during normal business hours and participate in daily production cadence.

Required profile

• Experience in engineering documentation control and ERP data administration.
• Familiarity with production environments and ISO 9001:2015 document control standards.
