Facility Manager

About the role

Atoms is looking for a Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of its physical AI facilities. You will ensure that all building systems, equipment, and safety standards are managed efficiently to support the deployment of real‑world robots.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and coordinate building and system maintenance, equipment repair, and replacement.
• Manage contractors for maintenance, custodial, tenant improvements and ensure high‑quality work.
• Work with the kitchen onboarding team to oversee equipment move‑in, routine inspections and go‑live for new licensees.
• Provide engineering support for retrofit plans and collaborate with onboarding, enterprise and development teams.
• Interpret building and health codes, maintain relationships with local officials, and keep the facility fully operational.
• Develop, schedule, supervise and track preventive maintenance programs, including specialized tasks such as fire‑hood cleaning.
• Create and maintain a vetted list of local vendors for all facility services.
• Coordinate small projects involving multiple trades, manage vendor relationships, SOPs, quality and pricing.
• Lead Facility Technicians I & II across their regions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage maintenance and repairs within budget.
• Strong communication skills.
• Creative problem‑solving mindset.
• English proficiency at B2+/C1 level.
