Finance Associate

About the role

Pharmbills is looking for a Finance Associate to support its growing portfolio of U.S. healthcare clients. Based in Medellin and working remotely, you will ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency across reporting, reconciliations, and AR/AP processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and perform bank/balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance with GAAP.
• Assist internal and external audits and provide insights to management.
• Oversee junior accounting staff when applicable.
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and coordinate with other departments.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Billing for 3,000+ clients and support Accounts Payable operations.
• Assist with tax preparation and regulatory filings as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in American corporate or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
