Finance Sr Analyst

About the role

Zimmer Biomet, a global medical technology company, is hiring a Senior Finance Analyst. The role provides financial reports to business partners for monthly assessments, runs monthly analytical variance reviews, works with business partners and countries on forecasts and annual budgets, and takes part in continuous improvement of processes, practices and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Budgeting, planning and forecasting: maintain key parts of the Hyperion Planning application, including data loads, and develop and manage standardized input and data collection templates for online and offline bottoms-up datasets.
• Lead data consolidation and reconciliation with business stakeholders, and assist in developing financial targets and accurate forecasts based on up-to-date performance indicators.
• Conduct first-level variance analyses of P&L, headcount, balance sheet and cash flow, turning them into business insights.
• Review budgets by business unit, function or country and give financial advice, risk analysis and opportunities.
• Serve as business partner and Hyperion subject matter expert for local finance and other expert functions, and drive master data management and data validation.
• Run end-to-end P&L analysis and present it to leadership, provide ad-hoc financial support, prepare reporting materials for management reviews, and ensure financial integrity compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Effective analytical, organizational and communication skills, learning agility, proactivity and independence.
• English B2+/C1; other European languages desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and budgeting practices.
• Hyperion (desirable).

Travel is expected about 10%, and the work follows a hybrid model of 4 days per month in the office.
