Financial Accountant

About the role

The Financial Accountant ensures that all obligations incurred by the entity for the acquisition of goods, services or other items are recognised in a timely manner and properly recorded in the accounting system within the corresponding period, in line with applicable legal regulations and the company's policies and procedures. The position is based in Bogota, Zona Franca.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (B2-C1).
• Demonstrable experience in accounts payable and accounting roles across different sectors, with a minimum of three years.
• Experience in international exchange transactions.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of general accounting and taxes.
• Knowledge of the dynamics of different accounting information systems.
• Experience in reconciling accounting accounts.
• Competencies: financial analysis and reporting, IFRS/GAAP, financial planning and forecasting, accounts payable management.
