Financial Controller – QuickBooks, Full Cycle (Remote)

About the role

GSD Healthcare Solutions is seeking a senior Financial Controller to act as the financial backbone of a fast‑growing, 65‑person healthcare services company. This remote, high‑ownership position blends day‑to‑day accounting precision with strategic reporting for executive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute daily financial operations: transaction processing, payroll updates, billing adjustments, and month‑end close.
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks and ensure data integrity across all entries.
• Manage full‑cycle accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, and customer collections.
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, reimbursements, and the general ledger.
• Lead monthly and quarterly closing procedures, balance‑sheet preparation, and P&L management.
• Support audits, enforce internal controls, and handle multi‑currency transactions.
• Build executive‑level dashboards, revenue analysis, profitability tracking, and ROI reporting.
• Develop financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
• Communicate financial insights to leadership, operations, and clients, translating numbers into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in full‑cycle accounting and financial control, preferably in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and influence senior leadership.
