Financial Project Controller

About the role

The Financial Project Controller will ensure accurate financial management of assigned projects, supporting the PM/PMO team with accounting insights and maintaining compliance with corporate policies. You will be the key liaison between finance and project execution, guaranteeing that project financials are reliable and transparent.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain project data in the ERP system.
• Support PM/PMO in understanding accounting impacts on actuals and forecasts.
• Assess and document changes in accounting treatment for projects in execution.
• Ensure adherence to Revenue Recognition Board decisions.
• Validate the accuracy of sales, cost, and balance‑sheet reporting for assigned projects.
• Monitor project balance sheets, perform netting exercises, and verify order backlogs.
• Maintain compliance with internal accounting principles, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.
• Provide financial information to internal and external auditors.
• Assist PM/PMO with project performance reviews using financial insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in financial controlling.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, planning, reporting, and analysis.
• Experience with cash‑flow, receivables, inventory management, and revenue recognition.
• Fluent business English and ability to work independently with high precision.
