Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

Jeeves is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge the gap between our product and the most complex customers in Latin America. You will work hands‑on with finance and engineering teams at high‑growth and enterprise companies, writing production code and guiding technical onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Write and ship production code to support large strategic accounts.
• Own the technical side of onboarding, from scoping calls through go‑live and adoption.
• Run technical workshops with customer engineering and finance teams, sometimes on‑site.
• Document integration guides, edge cases, and playbooks for internal use.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional software engineering or engineering management experience.
• At least 2 years of customer‑facing technical work.
• Fluent in English and proficient in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across Latin America.

Required skills

• Strong hands‑on coding in Python, TypeScript/Node, or Go.
• Experience building against REST APIs and webhooks.
• Solid SQL and data‑mapping abilities, demonstrated through integrations or data pipelines.
