Forward Deployed Fund Operator (South America)

About the role

Infra One is looking for a Forward Deployed Fund Operator to embed with venture fund clients across South America. You will own the end‑to‑end operational outcomes for a portfolio of funds, acting as the primary point of contact for General Partners, Limited Partners and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage fund onboarding, closings, capital calls, deal execution and quarterly reporting.
• Serve as the named contact for GP WhatsApp groups and back‑office inboxes, handling KYC/AML issues, convertible note sign‑offs and due‑diligence requests.
• Read and interpret legal documents such as LPAs, subscription agreements, CLAs and side letters to unblock operational workflows.
• Collaborate with Infra One’s engineering team to flag and resolve platform issues, often within the same day.
• Coordinate with internal legal counsel for compliance while maintaining operational momentum.

Required profile

• Legal training or experience reading fund‑related documentation.
• Strong understanding of venture fund operations and back‑office processes.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with GPs, LPs and cross‑functional teams.
