Front-End Developer – Build Modern Mortgage Platforms

About the role

The Front-End Developer will shape seamless user interactions, scalable web applications, and accessible digital experiences for a leading U.S. mortgage organization. You will work remotely through Emapta, collaborating with international clients and a supportive development team.

Key responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible, and high‑performance web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop reusable UI components that align with design systems and brand standards.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend RESTful APIs, ensuring reliable data flow and error handling.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement pixel‑accurate designs from wireframes and prototypes.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests to maintain code quality and minimize regressions.
• Optimize application performance through lazy loading, code splitting, and asset optimization.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong engineering fundamentals combined with a focus on user experience.
• Comfortable working in collaborative product environments and following agile processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Required skills

• JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript
• React, Vue, or Angular
• HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility
• RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming
• Frontend state‑management patterns and libraries
• Unit testing and end‑to‑end testing frameworks
• Modern build tools, bundlers, and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm, Yarn)
• Git and collaborative development workflows
• Familiarity with SSR/SSG frameworks (advantage)
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards (preferred)
• Experience with Storybook, design tokens, or component‑driven development (beneficial)
