Full Stack Developer – Symfony, PrestaShop & WordPress

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong PHP background to join our team. The role focuses on evolving PrestaShop stores and building new features with Symfony, while also handling occasional WordPress maintenance tasks. You will work in a Scrum environment, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions using PHP 8 and Symfony 5.4+
• Create and customize PrestaShop modules and integrations
• Build, consume, and document REST APIs for third‑party services
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of PrestaShop stores
• Maintain WordPress sites, plugins, and platform updates when needed
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries and database structures
• Participate in GitLab version control, CI/CD pipelines, and unit‑testing processes
• Contribute to Scrum ceremonies and propose technical improvements

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Full Stack or Backend PHP developer
• Strong knowledge of PHP 8, Symfony 5.4+, and PrestaShop module development
• Experience with Docker, Composer, CI/CD tools, and Git/GitLab
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• Higher education degree or equivalent vocational training; English proficiency a plus
