Full Stack Engineer – Remote (Colombia)

About the role

Freyr, a global provider of regulatory and compliance solutions for life‑science companies, is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join its remote team in Colombia. The role involves designing, building and deploying scalable applications using Python and React while adhering to strict regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code using TDD, design patterns, and best practices.
• Design and build scalable full‑stack applications with Python and React.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create features, UI/UX concepts, and prototypes.
• Implement continuous delivery practices to ensure high‑quality, timely releases.
• Apply DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD automation and security integration.
• Select appropriate technologies and design solutions aligned with business needs.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and internal processes.
• Continuously improve development processes and practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience as a Full‑Stack Developer using Python and React.
• Experience with object‑oriented programming and modern frameworks.
• Knowledge of TDD, CI/CD, and Agile/Lean development practices.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
