Global Payroll Specialist (Hybrid)

About the role

Quorum Software, a technology and professional services company serving the energy industry, is hiring a Global Payroll Specialist in Bogota, Colombia, under a hybrid work model. The role reports to the Sr. Director of Global HR Ops, Compliance & Payroll and works with Payroll Team members, HR, Finance and Accounting. It covers the end-to-end payroll process for Colombia and other assigned countries, acting as the subject matter expert for each country.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, prepare and enter payroll data into systems such as ADP Workforce Now and ADP Celergo to produce accurate, timely payroll.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and corporate policies, and handle wage calculations for new hires, terminations and salary changes, plus reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support the benefits cycle, including disability-related leave, and manage the payroll service provider or vendor.
• Perform journal entries, account reconciliations and general ledger support, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual government reports and year-end processing.
• Maintain accurate payroll documentation, support audits, and assist team members.
• Take part in special projects such as process improvements, new country implementations and systems integration.
• Use time and labor systems such as ADP E-Time and Replicon to input exception time, and monitor data privacy compliance.

Required profile

• 3+ years in a similar Payroll Administrator position.
• Familiarity with payroll in at least 5 countries; exposure to global payroll laws and regulations.
• Post-secondary diploma in a related field, ideally Business/Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Employment eligibility in Colombia; the company does not sponsor visas.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• PCP or similar certification, or working towards it.
• 5 years of ERP experience, preferably with ADP software.
• Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
• Understanding of accounting concepts and payroll best practices.
