Hotel Industry Accountant – Financial Reporting & Reconciliations

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support its growing portfolio of hospitality clients. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining balance‑sheet integrity, and ensuring a smooth month‑end close across multiple hotel properties.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting tasks, prepare journal entries, and support the month‑end close to meet strict client deadlines.
• Maintain and resolve reconciling items on balance‑sheet accounts, ensuring data integrity.
• Master specialized hospitality platforms, ERP tools, and reporting structures for independent execution.
• Follow standardized processes to provide consistent, accurate, and responsive client service.

Required profile

• 1–3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, property management, or outsourced accounting services.
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close cycles.
• Highly organized with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams and clients.
