HR Business Unit Manager – MedTech (LATAM Surgery)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a senior HR Business Unit Manager for its MedTech Surgery portfolio covering Mexico and North LATAM. Based in Bogotá, the role provides strategic HR partnership to drive business outcomes, shape culture and build the talent pipeline needed for future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as strategic HR partner for Surgery Mexico and Surgery North LATAM, aligning HR initiatives with business strategy.
• Diagnose organizational health and design structures that support strategic goals.
• Develop and deploy data‑driven talent strategies, including succession planning and digital capability building.
• Shape and steward culture and employee experience to attract, inspire and retain top talent.
• Provide leadership coaching and drive team effectiveness.
• Collaborate across the OneHR model to deliver talent, workforce planning and organizational strategies.
• Represent HR in business planning, financial forecasting and market competitiveness analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or leader in a complex, multinational environment.
• Strong business acumen with ability to understand and influence business strategy.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to diagnose talent needs and measure impact.
• Experience managing talent strategy, succession pipelines and capability development, preferably in MedTech or healthcare.
• Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
