Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

America Steel Trade Corporation is seeking a motivated Human Resources Coordinator to support full‑cycle recruiting and day‑to‑day HR operations. The ideal candidate will be self‑driven, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Post job advertisements on platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn, schedule interviews, and coordinate candidate communications.
• Facilitate onboarding by preparing materials, conducting orientations, and ensuring completion of required paperwork.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries, delivering timely and accurate responses.
• Prepare and maintain HR reports, metrics, and dashboards as needed.
• Keep employee records up‑to‑date, ensuring confidentiality and legal compliance.
• Assist in planning and executing HR events, including training sessions, recognition programs, and team‑building activities.
• Perform additional duties to support the HR manager and overall department objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 + years of HR experience covering recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships at all organizational levels.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to meet deadlines in a cross‑functional, international setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using CRM or HRIS tools.
