Human Rights Intern – Case Information Management

About the role

This internship supports the Prevention and Protection workstream of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. The intern will help collect, organise, and analyse information on alleged human rights violations and contribute to internal reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, systematising and maintaining data on allegations and cases.
• Support the analysis and synthesis of case information to produce internal notes and analytical summaries.
• Update and maintain tracking tools and databases used by the team.
• Monitor developments related to prevention and protection trends as required.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or completed a graduate programme, or in the final year of a bachelor’s degree (law, international relations, political science or related fields preferred).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work with structured information.
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish; proficiency in English and French is an advantage.
