Information Technology Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Information Technology Specialist to provide on‑site technical support for our office environment. You will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and network issues, ensuring smooth daily operations for all users.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site support for desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems promptly.
• Install, configure and maintain operating systems, applications and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Assist with LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi and VPN setup, monitoring and basic administration.
• Support remote users when required.
• Perform routine system checks, updates and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, tracking and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and external support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards and best practices.
• Respond to tickets, incidents and service requests within SLA.
• Provide basic training and guidance on IT tools and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, common business applications and basic networking.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with VPNs, remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
• Good understanding of IT security principles.
