Information Technology Specialist

About the role

The IT Manager will oversee daily IT operations, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance across the organization. This full‑time, on‑site role in Bogotá requires strong technical expertise, proactive problem‑solving, and clear communication.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day IT operations to maintain system stability, security, and optimal performance.
• Manage and prioritize IT support tickets, delivering fast and effective resolutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Maintain and improve IT infrastructure, including networks, identity management, security tools, and device management.
• Develop and document IT policies, processes, and system configurations.
• Support employee onboarding/offboarding and access workflow management.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, track assets, and oversee software tools.
• Identify gaps, propose solutions, and lead IT projects and continuous improvements.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in IT operations, technical support, or systems administration, with some leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience with ticketing systems, identity management, and IT best practices.
• Highly proactive mindset, able to anticipate issues and drive solutions independently.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and effective in a fast‑paced environment.
