Information Technology Specialist – Part‑Time

About the role

This part‑time position supports TikTok’s Tech Team in Bogotá, focusing on conference‑room AV troubleshooting, hardware maintenance, and basic network assistance. You will work on‑site each Monday for four hours, handling a variety of technical tasks across the office.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conference‑room AV equipment (≈80% macOS, 20% Windows).
• Perform basic network and Wi‑Fi troubleshooting as needed.
• Conduct conference‑room inspections, asset audits, and bulk asset refreshes (laptop wipe, cleaning, imaging).
• Support event setups, hardware moves, and locker restocking.
• Handle hardware issues, including devices that do not power on and server‑room equipment.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding, IDF routine inspections, and asset inventory.
• Maintain imaging infrastructure and manage package acceptance/shipping.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; IT‑related certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals) is a plus.
• At least 1 year of IT support or similar technical experience.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and customer‑service orientation.
• Physical ability to lift equipment up to 25 lb and perform on‑site checks.
