About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Stimulation and Fracturing Engineer to join its Production Solutions team in Neiva, Colombia. The role combines field‑based technical support with analytical work to design, execute, and evaluate hydraulic fracturing and acid treatments for oil and gas wells.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance during planning and execution of frac and acid treatments, applying knowledge of subsurface, rock mechanics, and fluid mechanics.
• Analyze well pressure in real time from the wellsite and execute diagnostic pumping techniques.
• Perform pre‑job fluid testing, verify equipment and materials, and coordinate with service coordinators.
• Document technical findings during and after jobs, validate end‑of‑job packets, and communicate results to Business Development and customers.
• Collaborate with Operations and Business Development teams to ensure efficient job execution and support rollout of new surface and subsurface technologies.
• Assist in the development of Associate Technical Professionals and support remote viewing operations (RTO).

Required profile

• University degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Industrial, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering (STEM).
• Minimum three years of experience in hydraulic fracturing and/or sand control operations.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Strong analytical skills and experience preparing technical reports.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
