Internal Auditor

About the role

Essity is seeking an Internal Auditor to strengthen governance, risk management, and internal controls across the Americas. You will work with finance and operational teams in North and Latin America, conducting audits, analyzing data, and delivering recommendations that improve business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on internal audits covering financial, operational, compliance and business processes.
• Identify risks and improvement opportunities through detailed review of processes and controls.
• Analyze data from SAP and other business systems to support audit assessments.
• Interview stakeholders at various levels and across multiple functions.
• Prepare clear audit documentation, findings, and actionable reports.
• Monitor corrective actions and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of integrity, accountability and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Solid experience in internal audit, finance, controlling, accounting or risk management.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and internal controls.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Curious, analytical and collaborative mindset with willingness to travel.
