Investment Banking Associate Director

About the role

MACA Advisors, a cross‑border M&A advisory firm, is seeking an Associate Director to own the analytical and written product on live mandates. You will work directly with partners on sell‑side, buy‑side and capital‑raise transactions across various sectors, becoming a visible presence with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct, check and mentor analysts to ensure the first draft meets final standards.
• Draft pitch materials, Confidential Information Memorandums, teasers, bid letters, memos and process documents.
• Provide judgment on transaction decisions and contribute to client meetings, diligence, structuring, negotiation and closing.
• Generate origination ideas, delivering at least one per quarter.

Required profile

• 3+ years of investment banking or M&A advisory experience, preferably with cross‑border transactions.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Based in a time zone between UTC‑3 and UTC‑6.

Required skills

• Mastery of financial modeling and valuation.
• Ability to draft the full range of transaction documents.
• Working knowledge of sell‑side, buy‑side and capital‑raise processes, including earn‑outs, escrows, seller notes and rollover equity.
