Investor Relations Associate (Remote, LatAm)

About the role

AxisKey (formerly Industry FinTech) helps private market companies grow their investor base, raise capital and scale their teams. This Investor Relations Associate position is fully remote and works directly with one of its U.S.-based clients, as part of AxisPeople, the firm's people operations division. The associate acts as an extension of the client's team, helping to grow the investor network, manage investor communications, nurture prospects and support capital raising from initial outreach through onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing investors by phone, email and virtual meetings.
• Manage investor pipelines and follow up on time throughout the investor lifecycle.
• Represent clients professionally, communicating investment opportunities and company updates.
• Support capital raising by engaging qualified prospects and scheduling meetings.
• Use the proprietary investor management platform to track activity, manage communications and keep accurate records.
• Coordinate investor onboarding and help with documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the assigned client and meet performance goals and KPIs on investor engagement, pipeline and capital raising.
• Keep learning about private capital markets, fundraising strategies and investor communications.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal English; excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organization, able to handle several investor conversations at once, and self-motivated to work independently remotely.
• Professional, confident, consultative style, highly accountable with attention to detail.
• Comfortable speaking with executives, investors and business owners.
• Experience meeting performance goals, KPIs, sales targets or relationship management metrics.
• Bonus points for experience in investor relations, capital raising, private equity, venture capital, commercial real estate, finance, wealth management, fundraising or business development; experience with accredited investors or high-net-worth individuals; FINRA licenses (Series 7, 63, 65, 66 or similar); experience supporting Regulation D offerings, private placements or alternative investments; CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive or similar); entrepreneurial or startup experience.
