About the role

As an IoT Engineer at BairesDev, you will design and develop firmware and embedded software for next‑generation connected devices, bridging hardware and intelligent software solutions for industrial and automotive applications.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop robust firmware and embedded systems for a variety of IoT and industrial devices.
• Program microcontrollers and implement low‑level device drivers to enable seamless hardware‑software communication.
• Utilize embedded Linux and RTOS environments (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr) to build scalable, efficient device software.
• Debug and optimize system performance to ensure reliability and energy efficiency.
• Implement secure remote access and over‑the‑air update capabilities for device fleets.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in IoT Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Firmware Development.
• Proven expertise building firmware for IoT, automotive, and industrial devices.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• C/C++ programming.
• Embedded Linux.
• RTOS experience (FreeRTOS, Zephyr).
