IT POS Administrator

About the role

The POS System Administrator at Auxis serves as the technical bridge between restaurant operations, IT support, and development teams. You will ensure that point‑of‑sale, online ordering and back‑office inventory systems operate reliably and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain POS menus, pricing, recipes, loyalty programs and promotional items.
• Provide Tier‑2/Tier‑3 troubleshooting for POS configuration, hardware routing (printers, video displays) and network connectivity issues.
• Manage ticket queues, escalate complex incidents to development teams and guide end‑users through resolution steps.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, keep the internal knowledge base up‑to‑date and collaborate with training teams on best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of technical support experience, preferably with POS systems and operating systems.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (spoken and written).
• High school diploma or technical diploma; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework, network certifications (e.g., CCNA) or database administration is advantageous.
