Jr/Mid Video Editor (Portrait-Format Social Ads)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior to Mid‑level Video Editor to join a fast‑growing UK‑based DTC consumer app. You will own the paid‑social ad production pipeline, creating high‑performing portrait‑format (9:16) video ads for Meta, TikTok and programmatic channels.

Key responsibilities

• Edit portrait‑format video ads for Meta, TikTok, AppLovin, Moloco and Unity, following senior editor direction.
• Execute briefs end‑to‑end: cutting, captioning, sound design and exporting to channel specifications.
• Produce hook variations and rapid weekly iterations in a volume‑first workflow.
• Integrate AI tools (e.g., ElevenLabs, Runway, CapCut AI) for voice‑over, timing and asset generation.
• Maintain clean project files and shared asset libraries.
• Incorporate feedback quickly and collaborate asynchronously with the UK team.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience editing social‑first video content; long‑form or corporate backgrounds are not a fit.
• Portfolio or reel showcasing portrait‑format (9:16) paid‑social ads for Meta and/or TikTok.
• Strong written English for remote collaboration.
• Understanding of short‑form ad hooks, attention retention and performance‑creative principles.

Required skills

• Premiere Pro (cutting rhythm, captions, sound mix, basic motion).
• After Effects fundamentals for motion graphics and animated captions.
• Familiarity with AI video tools such as ElevenLabs, Runway or CapCut AI features.
• Experience with collaboration tools: Frame.io, Google Drive, Slack, Notion.
