Junior Account Manager – Hybrid role in Bogota

About the role

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances and health‑focused ingredients, is looking for a Junior Account Manager to join its Bogota team. This hybrid position combines on‑site collaboration with remote work, allowing you to engage directly with key customers while contributing to innovative fragrance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with key customer decision‑makers to validate and qualify profitable sales opportunities.
• Identify and propose innovative fragrance solutions that exceed customer expectations.
• Lead and energize cross‑functional teams to deliver complex projects on time.
• Negotiate contracts and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations that provide market insights.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the consumer fragrance industry, focusing on the air market.
• Build and nurture relationships with internal peers and external customers, providing support for problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Business Administration or a related economic field.
• Minimum 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in specialty chemicals or fragrances.
• Experience working with multinational customers is a plus.
• Understanding of operations and logistics dynamics.
• Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 % of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
