Junior Cloud Engineer – Azure & CI/CD

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Junior Cloud Engineer to help build and maintain an automated, reliable cloud environment. You will work with multinational teams on innovative projects, gaining hands‑on experience with Azure and modern DevOps tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Understand existing build and deployment pipelines and their associated processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment procedures for the modernization team.
• Monitor systems for reliability and scalability, implementing performance improvements.
• Support platform and capability deployments across multiple environments, troubleshooting issues.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Create and keep technical documentation and engineering guidelines up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on professional experience in a related area.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Practical experience with containerization tools such as Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, and Helm.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Azure Pipelines, Terraform, Argo or GitHub Actions.
• Competent programming skills in C#, Java, Python or a similar language.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• English communication at B2+ level or higher.
