Junior Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

The Junior Cybersecurity Engineer will support the security posture of Unisys' infrastructure and embedded operating system applications. Working closely with senior security engineers, you will help configure, monitor, and improve protections across networks, servers, desktops, and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain security configurations for dedicated infrastructure and embedded operating system applications and middleware.
• Deploy and support information and system protections across networks, servers, desktops, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with senior security engineers to ensure configurations and processes identify risks, protect assets, detect threats, respond to attacks, and enable recovery.
• Assist with move execution, additions, and changes to security tools and platforms.
• Maintain documented operating procedures, execute them, and use workflow and ticketing systems to track work.
• Support transitions, implementations, and migrations of security solutions.
• Collect, analyze, and report security metrics on a routine basis.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
• 2‑4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
