Junior Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Internal Auditor to join our global audit team. Reporting to the Senior Internal Auditor, you will support risk‑based audits, investigations and control reviews across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute operational and financial audits in line with the annual audit plan or ad‑hoc management requests.
• Conduct detailed investigations, including stakeholder interviews, and document findings.
• Prepare concise audit reports with practical recommendations for senior management.
• Support the Minimum Internal Controls Framework by challenging controls, developing documentation, and tracking action plans.
• Assist in building data‑interrogation and analytics tools for continuous compliance monitoring.
• Provide a control focus for company initiatives, projects and new activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in internal audit, accounting or related business functions.
• Qualified accountant or auditor (CPA, ACA, CMA, CIA, CISA or equivalent).
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• Familiarity with COSO or similar internal‑control frameworks; Sarbanes‑Oxley knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with SAP and intermediate/advanced Excel; Power BI is advantageous.
• Self‑organised, able to work at pace both independently and within a team.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20 % and to work flexibly between office and home.
