Junior Mobile Engineer – React Native

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a motivated Junior Mobile Engineer to join its fast‑growing fintech team in Colombia. You will work on a cross‑platform TypeScript React Native app and help shape the future of interest‑free installment shopping for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features for the React Native mobile app and integrate with Golang backend APIs.
• Manage releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app‑store infrastructure to ensure safe rollouts.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to align on requirements.
• Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.
• Gain deep knowledge of the application, data domain, and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of professional mobile development experience.
• At least 6 months of experience with React Native or a similar cross‑platform framework (e.g., Flutter).
• Experience delivering apps to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript.
