Learning and Development Specialist

About the role

DOXA is looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to join its team remotely, based in Colombia or the Philippines. The role suits a learning professional who enjoys designing engaging, accessible and impactful learning experiences that support employee development and business objectives. You will identify knowledge, skills and behavioural gaps and develop learning solutions through instructional design, training delivery, technology and AI-powered tools, collaborating with stakeholders to create learning journeys, measure their effectiveness and continuously improve learning strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Build learner-centered instructional materials and experiences, combining synchronous and asynchronous resources according to DOXA's standards and methodology
• Deliver learning solutions through learner-centered approaches and platforms, with strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Maintain session, content and facilitator analytics to assess the success of deployed learning solutions
• Manage projects end to end, with attention to details, timelines, stakeholders and SOPs
• Use AI tools to build learning assets, optimize L&D workflows and improve the quality and scalability of learning solutions, following AI usage guidelines
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders at all organizational levels and adapt your approach to changing situations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Learning and Development or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience as a research-oriented instructional designer, with expertise in learner-centered design and synchronous and asynchronous training
• Proven experience managing projects from planning to completion with concrete examples of successful outcomes
• Advanced English (B2+ - C1); Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM CST; Colombian contract, non-fixed term
• Accountable, innovative, adaptable, collaborative and committed to continuous improvement

Required skills

• Instructional design and facilitation
• Knowledge of methodologies beyond ADDIE, such as Agile and SAM
• Project management, stakeholder management and learning analytics
• Proficiency in learning technologies and digital tools
• Ability to use AI tools to develop learning assets and optimize workflows

Plus factors: certifications from recognized training organizations, familiarity with competency frameworks, and experience developing and implementing diverse learning solutions.
