Legal Counsel (Remote, Colombia)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to support its fast‑growing software consultancy operations across Latin America. Working remotely from Colombia, you will ensure legal compliance, mitigate risks, and provide strategic advice to internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, amendments, Statements of Work and other legal agreements in English and Spanish.
• Advise business units and senior leadership on corporate governance, labor law, intellectual property, privacy and other regulatory matters.
• Support employment‑law issues, including contracts, claims, and the creation of internal policies and procedures.
• Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations and communicate impacts to the business.
• Develop and deliver legal training, business legal reports, and internal communications.
• Collaborate with external counsel, vendors and customers on compliance‑related matters.
• Manage multiple legal priorities while maintaining high‑quality work and meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant legal experience, especially in commercial agreements and contract negotiation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law and a valid license to practice law in Colombia.
• Ability to advise on corporate and operational legal matters across Latin America.
• Strong analytical skills and a self‑starter attitude.

Required skills

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Knowledge of corporate governance, labor law, IP, privacy and compliance regulations.
