Legal Counsel (Remote) – Colombia

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to support its fast‑growing software consultancy operations across Latin America. Working remotely from Colombia, you will ensure legal compliance, mitigate risks, and provide strategic advice to internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, amendments, Statements of Work and other legal agreements in English and Spanish.
• Advise business stakeholders and senior leadership on corporate governance, labor law, intellectual property, privacy and other regulatory matters.
• Develop and maintain internal policies, processes and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Monitor legal developments, analyze their impact on the business, and communicate relevant updates.
• Collaborate with external counsel, vendors and customers on compliance‑related issues.
• Support corporate governance, privacy, IP and other general corporate legal disciplines.
• Participate in domestic and international legal initiatives, including occasional travel.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience, especially in commercial agreements and contract negotiation.
• Law degree and active license to practice law in Colombia.
• Ability to advise on corporate and operational legal matters across Latin America.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating contracts.
• Knowledge of labor law, corporate governance, privacy and intellectual property regulations.
