Logistics Account Manager

About the role

Charger logistics Inc. is seeking a motivated Logistics Account Manager to strengthen relationships with existing customers and develop new business opportunities across North America. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring that client needs are met through effective communication, accurate pricing, and coordinated operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing day‑to‑day and long‑term logistics needs.
• Manage customer expectations and deliver exceptional service throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure pricing accuracy and successful onboarding of new accounts.
• Participate in rate matrix reviews, profitability analysis, and preparation of bids and presentations for high‑spend opportunities.
• Identify and pursue new business prospects within target markets.
• Support the Customer Service Manager in delivering optimal transportation solutions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date databases of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and product innovations.
• Prepare sales budgets, reports, and expense documentation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation or logistics.
• Recent degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing accounts, presenting proposals, and closing deals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Experience with pricing and rate calculations.
• Understanding of B2B sales processes involving complex deals.
• Negotiation and closing abilities.
