Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our transportation team in Barranquilla. The role combines customer‑success responsibilities with end‑to‑end shipment management, ensuring that freight moves efficiently and customers stay informed.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare spot quotes for LTL and FTL shipments based on customer requests.
• Enter and manage shipment orders in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Coordinate order release and dispatch with carriers and customers.
• Monitor pickups and deliveries through proactive shipment tracking.
• Communicate shipment status updates and service changes to customers.
• Audit carrier costs and support validation of shipment and carrier information.
• Retrieve, verify and forward Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
• Support claims and rebill resolution by gathering required documentation.
• Maintain accurate tracking records and internal visibility tools.

Required profile

• Fluent English (B2‑C1) and ability to work onsite in Barranquilla.
• Experience with LTL and FTL transportation operations.
• Knowledge of freight quoting, booking, carrier dispatch and tracking processes.
• Understanding of POD, billing, claims and rebill procedures.
• Familiarity with transportation terminology and documentation.
