Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our Transportation and Logistics team. The role involves coordinating shipments, monitoring loads in real time, managing documentation and ensuring smooth communication among drivers, carriers, customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation and logistics operations from load assignment through completion.
• Monitor shipments and transportation resources in real time to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Communicate shipment status, schedules, and operational requirements with drivers, carriers, customers and internal teams.
• Assign and coordinate transportation resources based on operational needs.
• Track loads and trailers using GPS and transportation management systems.
• Review and validate Bills of Lading and other transportation documentation.
• Maintain accurate shipment, carrier and load information in internal systems.
• Identify and resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies and operational issues.
• Provide timely updates and follow‑up on pending transportation activities.
• Manage multiple shipments, systems and priorities simultaneously.
• Analyze operational information to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics operations.

Required profile

• At least 1 + year of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, load coordination or a related field.
• Educational background in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation operations, dispatching, shipment tracking and load coordination.
• Experience with transportation documentation, including Bill of Lading validation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with multiple systems and communication platforms simultaneously.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Decision‑making ability in time‑sensitive situations.
• Organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• English proficiency at B2–C1 level.
