Logistics & Expediting Specialist – Mining Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for a proactive Logistics and Expediting Specialist to support mining projects. You will ensure that purchase orders are fulfilled on time, coordinate with suppliers, and keep internal teams informed to avoid delays.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of goods linked to purchase orders.
• Generate delivery tracking reports and performance indicators for each supplier.
• Identify, document, and communicate any delays or issues to Warehouse, Finance, Procurement, and end‑user departments.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities and supplier communications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve logistical challenges and improve delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in logistics, administrative support, customer service or supplier relations.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI (preferred).
• Familiarity with database management (preferred).
