Logistics Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to support daily transportation operations. The role ensures shipments are tracked, updated, and delivered on time while providing timely operational updates to clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Track and trace shipments throughout the transportation process.
• Monitor load statuses and keep the Transportation Management System (TMS) up to date.
• Confirm pickup and delivery appointments with carriers and customers.
• Follow up on missed pickups, same‑day pickups, and delayed shipments.
• Review shipment plans for accurate transit times and mileage.
• Communicate with carriers via phone and email to ensure compliance.
• Cover and secure loads when needed and update related reports.
• Perform shipment cleanup and data maintenance within the TMS.
• Authorize and manage accessorial charges during overnight operations, when applicable.
• Respond promptly to emails, calls, and operational requests.
• Maintain accurate documentation and shipment records.
• Support after‑hours and weekend operations as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months of experience in logistics, transportation, or dispatch.
• English proficiency at B2‑C1 level; non‑bilingual candidates will not be considered.
• Ability to work after‑hours, weekends, and handle urgent operational requests.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Transportation Management System (TMS) platforms.
• Familiarity with logistics software for shipment tracking and data maintenance.
