Low-Level C++ Developer (Hybrid – Bogota)

About the role

Accelya is seeking an experienced C++ developer to build high-performance, low-overhead software for both Windows and Linux platforms. The role is based in Bogota with a hybrid schedule (two days in the office per week) and focuses on system-level programming, custom data structures, and memory-management optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise low-level C++ code with minimal reliance on higher-level abstractions.
• Create custom data structures, algorithms and memory-management solutions such as allocators and memory pools.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex performance issues and memory leaks.
• Write and run unit tests (e.g., Google Test) to ensure reliability and performance.
• Maintain clean, maintainable code across Windows and Linux environments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on C++ development experience, preferably in performance-critical, system-level projects.
• Strong understanding of hardware-software interaction, CPU, memory and I/O.
• Fluent English for interviews and daily communication.
