Manager, FP&A – Commercial

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, FP&A – Commercial to lead financial planning, performance management, and executive reporting for its Commercial organization. Reporting to the Director, FP&A – CNPF, you will act as a key thought partner and deputy, providing analytical leadership across planning, close, and reporting cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead the Commercial monthly forecast, annual plan, and budget cycles in partnership with Finance Business Partners and regional teams.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance in enterprise planning systems such as Hyperion.
• Oversee month‑end close deliverables, including variance analysis versus budget, forecast, prior year, and key business drivers.
• Develop and deliver executive‑level reporting, dashboards, and presentation materials for Commercial leadership and the CFO.
• Manage Commercial consolidation and expense governance to ensure transparency and financial discipline.
• Design, maintain, and continuously improve standardized reporting packs, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Drive process improvement and automation by building scalable analytical tools and financial models.
• Act as deputy to the Director, providing continuity across deliverables, leadership forums, and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Coach and mentor analysts, ensuring high‑quality analytical outputs.
• Lead ad‑hoc analysis and special projects, prioritizing stakeholder needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Progressive experience in FP&A with demonstrated growth in scope and stakeholder management.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate data into clear executive insight.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrix environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills.
