MATLAB Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company with more than 15 years of experience and a remote-first team of 4,000+ engineers, is hiring a MATLAB Engineer. The engineer develops technical computing solutions and algorithms focused on data analysis and modeling, builds simulations and works with engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop MATLAB applications, scripts and algorithms for technical computing.
• Implement data analysis and visualization solutions using MATLAB tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and research teams to develop simulation models.
• Optimize code performance and ensure the accuracy of computational results.
• Integrate MATLAB solutions with other systems and software platforms.
• Take part in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in MATLAB development or technical computing.
• Familiarity with signal processing, control systems or machine learning.
• Understanding of software development principles and performance optimization.
• Advanced level of English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MATLAB programming, Simulink and toolboxes.
• Algorithm development, data analysis and numerical methods.
