Mechanical Designer – Architectural Metal, Signage & Glass

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to develop detailed designs, 3‑D models and technical drawings for architectural metal, signage and glass projects. The role is fully remote and supports the full project lifecycle from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

• Create precise 3‑D models and 2‑D drawings using CAD tools for metal, signage and glass components.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and production teams to translate requirements into manufacturable designs.
• Perform structural and thermal analyses using Finite Element Analysis to validate design integrity.
• Prepare documentation, BOMs and specifications for fabrication and installation.
• Support prototyping, testing and design optimisation to improve performance and cost.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) – written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum five years of hands‑on mechanical design experience, preferably in architectural metal, signage or glass.
• Strong project management abilities and familiarity with industry standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural and thermal assessments.
• Autodesk Certified Professional (Inventor) or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of design optimisation, prototyping and testing processes.
