Mechanical Technician – Maintenance & Reliability

About the role

The Mechanical Technician ensures timely delivery of equipment to meet operational demands while improving maintenance efficiency and reducing non‑productive time across the product line assets. Working within the Maintenance Base, the technician follows a reliability‑centered maintenance strategy and records all activities in the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) system.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain assigned equipment according to the prescribed maintenance program and reliability‑centered maintenance strategy.
• Record materials, labor, work orders, parts used, and maintenance performance in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and TLM business systems.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost asset utilization, reduce downtime, and lower cost of service delivery.
• Support projects such as planned repair, part reuse, and efficiency improvements for maintenance technicians.
• Assist in failure investigations and comply with TLM competency and product‑line standards.

Required profile

• Technologist degree in mechanics, electronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial environment.
• Familiarity with reliability‑centered maintenance concepts and continuous‑improvement culture.

Required skills

• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) usage.
• Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems.
• Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology.
