Medical Science Liaison – Colombia

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will lead scientific collaboration with healthcare professionals across Colombia. You will implement clinical and educational strategies, respond to unsolicited medical inquiries, and support Novartis’ clinical research programs.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with medical experts to gather scientific and clinical data.
• Identify and involve key opinion leaders (KOLs) in disease‑specific initiatives.
• Develop and execute engagement plans aligned with national strategy.
• Respond promptly to unsolicited data requests from healthcare professionals.
• Support clinical trial execution, optimize study conduct, and provide scientific support to trial sites.
• Facilitate investigator‑initiated trial processes upon request.
• Act as a medical resource for field colleagues.
• Report technical complaints, adverse events, and special case scenarios within 24 hours.
• Distribute marketing samples where appropriate.

Required profile

• Strong background in medical science, clinical research, or related life‑science fields.
• Proven ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple scientific initiatives.
